We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2021, Robert Bloomberg of Colona, Illinois, born in Mediapolis, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gust Bloomberg and Blanche Bloomberg (Baker); and his stepfather Bernard Greeno. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Bacon (Baker); his children, Tamara Dianne Shelton (Jeff) of Roscoe, IL, Dennis Bloomberg (Linda) and Janni Robertson (Todd); his stepchildren, Kris Martinez (Mark) and Kim Reyes (Rey); his grandsons, David Shelton (Jenifer) and Joshua Shelton; his stepgrandchildren, Tanner (Kim), Conner (Chelsea), Abbie, Brandon, Quinton (Nataly) and Devon; his great grandchildren, Tyler and Evelyn; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Riley, Caleb, Jaxson, Amira, Tinley and Emme; his sister BonnieWheeler of Abingdon, IL; and his stepbrothers, Don Greeno (Dian) of DeWitt, IA, Rich Greeno (Sally) of Nashville, IN and Dale Whittenborn of Kansas City, KA. He is also survived by 3 nieces.
In accordance with restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a face mask and observe social distancing.
Memorials may be made to Colona United Methodist Church and Green River United Methodist Church.
