He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Robert Earl Allport and Helen Chrisman Allport; his children, Okie Davis-Knowles of Rockford, IL and Lucas Allport of Bettendorf, IA; his grandchildren, Alyssa Allport, Madison Allport, Trevor Allport, Ezra and Austin Knowles; his brothers, Fredrick, Melvin and Jesse; his stepsisters, Diane, Annette and Peggy; and his nephew Bobby Allport.
