It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Bogaert of Colona, Illinois, born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on March 6, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bogaert and Margaret Williams Bogaert; and his daughter Kim. He is survived by: his wife Tommie Bouler; his son Keith of Minneapolis; and his sisters, Carolyn Halsted and Diane Swemline. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Colona Fire Department.
