He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence Schatteman and Mary Anglese Schatteman Sr.. He is survived by : his daughter Linda Reingruberin (Jack) of Arizona; his wife Victoria Schatteman of Colona; his stepchildren, Raymond Brooks (Patti) of East Moline, Lois Buchholz (Pat) of Thomson, IL and Tara Brooks of Clinton, IA; and his siblings, Claris Bowles of Florida and Orrin Schatteman (Marilyn) of Missouri. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to QC Paws or the Kidney Foundation of the Quad Cities.
