It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lyle Peterson (Colona, Illinois), born in Aledo, Illinois, who passed away on March 24, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl M. Peterson and Minnie E. Peterson (Olomon); his former wife Mary Lou Nicholson; his wife Marjorie Eck of Union, OH.; his son-in-law Tim Sanderlin; his brothers, Wayne, Ward and Robert; and his stepdaughter Leslie Fuller.

He is survived by: his children, Karyn Eck (Lee), Janet Sanderlin, Linda Duncan (Bill), Richard, James and Kristine Peterson; and his siblings, Daryl Peterson and Ruth Dabrowski. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and many step-great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the ALS Association and sent to Vandemore Funeral Home, 580 E. Ogden Avenue, Geneseo, IL, 61254.
