He is survived by: his spouse Lisa Renner Oct; his children, Lanette King (Buddy) and David Schmidt (Heather); his grandchildren, Ryan Schmidt (Teddra), Ashlee Fleming (Kristine), Gage Schmidt, Rachel King and Emily King; his great grandchildren, Anna Noack, Bentlee Schmidt and Taelyn Schmidt; and his sister Phyllis Alford. He is also survived by his parents, wife.
