He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby McDanel and Bondella Underwood McDanel; and his brother Larry McDanel. He is survived by: his wife Susan "Sue" Newton of Colona; his children, Lance McDanel (Marnie) of Orion, IL, Lonnie McDanel (Melissa) of Colona, IL and Lori Proehl (Jay) of Milan, IL; and his sisters, Joyce Hofstetter of Silvis, IL and Kathy Krack (Don) of Aledo, IL.
