She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian White and Leo Scotton; and her sister Dee Moore. She is survived by: her husband Dale V.; her children, Nicole Descamps (Adam), Samantha Kershaw (Jacob Sanderson) and Spenser Kershaw (Mackenzie Weber); her grandchildren, Oakley, Cru and Emery Descamps; and her siblings, Barbara Hatten, Diana Carlson, Cindy Nichols (Randy), Christy Tague (Kelvin) and Jennings Hostetter (Joyce).
Memorials may be made to the Lung Cancer Research Institution at the University of Iowa.
