With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gertrude Kauzlarich of Colona, Illinois, born in Eddyville, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 23, 2024 at the age of 99. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur VanKlaveren and Nita Blackwood VanKlaveren; and her husband Rudy. She is survived by: her children, Arnold "Butch" Kershaw (Elzita), Sharon Earl (Rod) and Joe Kauzlarich (Linda). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Center.
