With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fredric R. Wendl of Colona, Illinois, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on October 6, 2023 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fredric R. Wendl to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Wendl and Rosemary Wendl (Collins); his brother Terrance "Terry" Wendl; and his parents-in-law, George and Mildred Lannoo.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Lannoo of John's Catholic Church; his children, Paul Wendl, Cheryl Graham (Troy) of Normal, IL, Joyce Contreras (Serg) and Tim Wendl; his sister Helene Waynick (Timothy) of Hampton, IL; his sister-in-law Heidi Wendl; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Graham, Zach, Ricky, Joey Massa, Allie, Teddy, Max Contreras, Parker and Remi Wendl. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Erie Ambulance or St. Ambrose Church.
