He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ellis and Allie Ellis (Spruill); his son Randy Ellis; and his siblings, Lucille, Mary, Leon, Charles, Jim, Beuford, Billy and Roy.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Williams; his children, Franklin Ellis of Davenport and Barbara; his son-in-law Ron Minnick of Colona; his grandchildren, Justin, Brittany, Joseph and Zachary; his great grandchildren, Kadyn and Kyrine; and his daughter-in-law Katrina Bratton-Ellis of Arizona.
Memorials may be made to Grandview Baptist Church of Davenport or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
