He is survived by: his wife Mary Langworthy Gordon; his children, Deanna (Timothy Richardson), Sherri (Thomas Smith), Keith Piersall of Moline and Tialinda (Chad Loucks); his grandchildren, Alicia Dollieslager, Bradley Richardson, Leita Richardson, Whitney Smith (Jonathan Clase), Tyler Smith (Anisha Vichare), Shaine Mier, Bryant Piersall and Cassidy Piersall; his stepgrandchildren, Taylor Gordon, Cameron Moline, Valerie Gordon, Halee Gordon and Justin Gordon; and his brother Edward Berger. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; two stepchildren.
