He is survived by: his wife Mary Smith; his children, Melissa Gustafson (Rick), Malinda Barsema (Jason "Squirrel"), Matthew Whipple (Kasey) and Joshua Whipple; his grandchildren, Daniel Gustafson, Katelynn Pruett, Sarah Gustafson, Mason Barsema, Jaxon Barsema and Sawyer Whipple; his siblings, Patty Ekin, Ron Whipple (Luann), Jackie Keogh (Tom) and Jamie Whipple (Brandy); and his stepmother Shirley Whipple.
