He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen; his children, Gary Collis (Sharon), Vickie Kenney (Jim) and Julie Smith (Stephen) of Lynchburg, VA; his grandchildren, Nate Mickelson, Dylan Kenney, Elliott Kenney, Stephanie Dunaway and Melissa Edwards; his stepgrandchildren, Brian Frakes and Amy Tafoya; his great grandchildren, Jack Mickelson, Tanner Mickelson, Claire Kenney, Mayla Kenney, Emmi Day-Kenney, Luke Kenney, Ella Dunaway, Braden Edwards, Alana Edwards and Camden Edwards; his stepgreat-grandsons, Gage Tafoya and Tyler Tafoya; and his brother Dave Collis of East Moline.
