With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Eugene Ellis of Collinsville, Illinois, born in Murphysboro, Illinois, who passed away on June 16, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Ellis and Sylvia Jones (Tripp); and his wife Sondra Ellis. He is survived by: his children, Laura Marchetti (Tony), Kevin Taylor (Donna) and Keith Ellis (Stacey); his grandchildren, Michelle Taraboi (Joe), Kristen Kreher (Terry) and Bryan Taylor (Beth); his great grandchildren, Amelia, Jonathon, Jordan, Sierrah and Kailee; and his siblings, Lila Switzer (Harry) and Ronald Ellis (Pat).

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to State Park Fire Dept.
