She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommaso Caia and Josephine Caia; her former husband Melvin Simpson; her husband Vincent Nowaksi; her siblings, Antionette Recklein, Mary Williams and Rocco Caia; and her stepson Larry Nowaski.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Ellen Daech (Otto); her grandchildren, James Daech, Carrie Daech and Rebecca Newman (Jim); her great grandchildren, Cody Daech, Emma Felden, Grace Daech, Maggie Newman, James Newman and Henry Newman; her great great grandchild Adeline Felden; her sisters, Sera Flenniken and Rose Arth; and her stepdaughter Sue Schafer.
Memorials may be made in Theresa's honor to Family Hospice or Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and will be received at the funeral home.
