We are sad to announce that on March 4, 2019, at the age of 94, Ruth Schikowski (Collinsville, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Dew and Julia Mary Harris (Roach); and her siblings, Lester Harris (Margaret), Dorothy Oulvey (Camille) and Doris Hart (Roland).
She is survived by: her spouse Robert L. Schikowski; her daughters, Judith Mentz (James) of Collinsville, IL and Donna Bontz (Ronald) of Edwardsville, IL; her daughter-in-law Debby Schikowski of Collinsville, IL; her grandchildren, Jeremy Mentz (Mary), Jon Mentz (Nicole), Jennifer Crider (Mark), Heather Giacoletto (Scott), Sean Schikowski (Emily) and Briana Bontz; her great grandchildren, Dylan, Alyssa Crider, Grace, Gabe Giacoletto and Austin Mentz; her sister Darlene Renden (Rob) of Aurora, CO; and her sister-in-law Elfrieda Blase of Highland, IL. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
