He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Bunselmeyer and Corrine Bunselmeyer; his son Jeffery Bunselmeyer; and his siblings, Lela Jolley and Homer Bunselmeyer.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Bunselmeyer; his daughter Laura Thompson (Dave); his grandchildren, Drew Thompson and Lexie Smith (Alex); and his sister Sharon Misuraca (Richard).
