He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Cain; his children, Robert "Paul" Vogt (Kathleen) of Collinsville, Steven Vogt of Huntsville, AL and Cathleen Frank (Mike) of Collinsville; his grandchildren, Dustin Vogt, Josh Harris (Mackenzie), Brandi Petroff (Andrew) and Rebecca Elliott (Tanner); his great grandchildren, Lane, Aspyn, Hale and Nash; his sister Jeannie Nesler of Herrin, IL; and his nieces, Amy and Anna.
