He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicolaus Wobbe and Sophia Wobbe; his wife Freda Wobbe; his son Michael Wobbe; and his siblings, Herman Wobbe (Louise), Alvin Wobbe (Frances), Aloys Wobbe (Velma), Frank Wobbe (Elsie), Victor Wobbe (Betty), Vincent Wobbe (Mary Jane), Catherine Jansen (Al) and Ann Anderson (Evertt).

He is survived by: his children, Christine Ramsey (Stephen), Eric Wobbe (Mary Lou Sanftleben) and Scott Wobbe (Cindy Aydt); his stepson Brad Ward (Jackie); his grandchildren, Shaun Ramsey (Amanda), Danielle Wobbe, Michael "Alex" Wobbe, Joshua Wobbe, Shannon Wobbe and Josh Ward; and his great grandchildren, Dylan Ramsey, Madison Ramsey and Logan Mirabella.
