Maxine B. Brown Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine B. Brown of Collinsville, Illinois, born in Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Payne and Cecil Payne (Ford); her husband Stanley Brown; her granddaughter Angelina Valencia; her son-in-law Rickey Achor; and her siblings, Velma Smith (Donald) and Donald Payne (Marie).

She is survived by: her children, Dennis McGuire (Dawn), Robert "Bob" McGuire (Karen), Michael McGuire (Cozette), Linda Leonard (Michael) and Teresa Achor (Chuck); and her siblings, Arline Thompson (Roger) and Clyde Payne (Doris). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
