He was predeceased by: his parents, Italo Tognarelli and Velia Tognarelli; his wife Virginia Westerheide Tognarelli; his sons, John Paul Tognarelli and Robert Thomas Tognarelli; his grandson Patrick Alan Tognarelli; his son-in-law Thomas Schoonover; his stepdaughter Jeannine "Red" Rissi; his siblings, Albert Tognarelli, Enzo Tognarelli and Lola Wrigley; and the mother of his children Joan Tognarelli.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Schoonover, Terri Reed (Mike), Michael Tognarelli (Lora), David Tognarelli (Mary), Patrick Tognarelli, Joseph Tognarelli (Vicky) and Mark Tognarelli; his stepchildren, Marilyn McAdams (Dave), Jack Westerheide (Jeanne), Terry Vacca (Brad), Carla Hall (Ron), Jackie Meier (Harvey) and Pam Massa (Matt); and his stepson-in-law Matt Rissi. He is also survived by 46 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
