He is survived by: his parents, Mary Margaret Waller (Winters) of Desoto, MO and Carl W. Coats of Granite City, IL.; his daughter Tiffany Coats; his stepchildren, Angie Sanders and Ricky King of Glen Carbon, IL; his stepmother Sandi Coats of Granite City, IL; his siblings, Nina Gibbons (Steve) of Orlando, FL, Douglas Coats (Paula) of High Ridge, MO, Alex Coats (Kathy) of Desoto, MO and Jason Coats (Angel) of Desoto, MO; his stepsister Micki Gaskins (Tom) of Alton, IL; and his close friend Brenda Schuman of Collinsville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
