He is survived by: his mother Margaret Carolen Hodge (Buchanan); his children, Charity Kocemba (Nolen) of Washington, Timothy Nolen of Texas and Samantha Nolen of Oregon; and his brothers, James Nolen, Joseph Nolen, Jacob Nolen, Jeffery Nolen of Illinois and Joshua Nolen of Nevada. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
