It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Davis Mentz of Collinsville, Illinois, born in Greenwich, Connecticut, who passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mentz and Jerree Mentz; and his brother Jack Mentz. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Mentz; his sons, Christopher Mentz (Kelsie) and Michael Mentz (Gabrielle Fairbairn); his grandchildren, Charlie and Jackson Mentz; his siblings, Jim Mentz (Judy) and Julie Williamson; and his brother-in-law Mark Stevens (Sharon). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials are suggested to Good Shepherd Lutheran School in Collinsville, IL or charity of choice.
