With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerome F. Korte of Collinsville, Illinois, born in Damiansville, Illinois, who passed away on May 11, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Korte and Mary Korte; his son Keith Korte; his siblings, Marie Rolves, Alvina Luitjohan, Alice Luitjohan, Sister Mary, George Korte, Joe Korte, Ferdinand Korte, Edmund Korte, Raymond Korte and Cyril "Pete" Korte; and his in-laws, Louis Rolves, Francis Luitjohan, John Luitjohan, Agnes Korte, Veronica Korte and Carol Korte.

He is survived by: his wife Clara Korte of Dominic's Church; his children, Barb Lenny (Alan), Ron Korte (Donna), Debbie Slattery (Kevin) and David Korte (Chris); his grandchildren, Kelly Welch, Kaitlyn Holderman, Jason Lenny, Eric Lenny, Kristen Weppner, Kyle Slattery, Ryan Slattery, Graham Korte, Alyssa Cookson, Audrey Pieper and Jake Pieper; and his sister-in-law Jane Korte. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
