We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Herbert Ulysses Reisinger of Collinsville, Illinois, born in Granite City, Illinois. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Reisinger and Genevieve Reisinger (Lovvorn); his daughters, Debra Hinds and Geri Dillard; and his siblings, Ruth Bunker, Marion Reisinger, George Reisinger and Donna Leonard.

He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Helen Reisinger (Haselhorst); his daughters, Karen (Hwai Yang) and Judy (Gerald Jackson); and his grandchildren, Kevin Deason, Kimberly Terry, Kelly (Randy Christy), Leonard (Nan Fuchs), Jason Fuchs, Kristen (Blake Witzman), Rob Kaiser, Dr. Cameron (Christie Yang), Madison Yang, Gerald (Cindy Jackson Jr.), Dr. Ryan (Valerie Jackson) and Joseph Jackson (Courtney Jackson). He is also survived by many great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; many nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

“My dear neighbors Herb & Shirley were very kind people. I will always remember their strong love for each other and how they took care of each other. Herb was a servant of God always trying to help people in our neighborhood. From bringing in neighbors trash cans to checking on neighbors who had surgery or suffered a fall. They would sit in their garage on nice days and invite me to sit with them when I was walking my dog. . Shirley loved my dog. Herb not so much. LOL.They will be missed. RIP”
