It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald Ardell Weil of Collinsville, Illinois, born in Lebanon, Illinois, who passed away on December 24, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Walter and Hilda Selma Weil; his daughter Ronda Weil Van Hook; and his sister Doris Sturman. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Weil; his son Tom Weil (Memorie) of Collinsville, IL; his grandchildren, Emma, Anna Grace, Nathan Weil, Casey Brauer (Aaron) and Jacob Van Hook; his great grandchildren, Morgan and Abigail Brauer; and his brother Marvin Weil of Belleville, IL..

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Vincent DePaul and will be received at the funeral home.
