He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Bartholomew and Mary Catherine Forneris. He is survived by: his children, Diane Combs (Paul) of New Douglas, IL, Eileen McKeon (Matthew) of St. Charles, MO, Kristina Forneris of Collinsville, IL and Geno Forneris (Michelle) of Collinsville, IL; his grandchildren, Kelly Flynn-Mushill (Justin), Bailey Forneris (Justis Bartoni), Luke McKeon and Katie Jane McKeon; his brother Anthony Forneris (Rita) of Collinsville; his former wife Kathleen Forneris; and his pet Rocky. He is also survived by many nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, it would mean the world to Gene to donate in his memory to Lighthouse for the Blind St. Louis in honor of grandson, Luke McKeon.
