With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eileen M Fohne of Collinsville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Mueller and Alice Mueller; her sisters, Evelyn Bugger (Wilbur) and Marilyn Falbe (Paul); and her siblings-in-law, Merril Fohne (Margaret), Robert Fohne (Stella), Mary Ann Seipp (Melvin), Virginia Hettenhausen (Walter) and Doris Benhoff (Alfred).
She is survived by: her husband Clarence G. Fohne; her children, Michael (Nancy) of Mascoutah, IL, Norma Stamm (late Gary) of Mascoutah, IL, Joseph Fohne and Jo Ann Karpel (Danial) of Collinsville, IL; her grandchildren, Lisa Stamm-Brothers (late Adam Brothers) of Belleville, IL, Amy Mosley (Benedict) of Cahokia Heights, IL, Stephen Fohne, Michelle Sandheinrich (Derek) of St. Libory, IL, Brandon Karpel and Dana Karpel (Cole Diercks) of Collinsville, IL; and her great grandchildren, Chadwick Delatine Jr. (C. J.), Alexus Brothers, Kaylee Sandheinrich and Grace Sandheinrich. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Peter and Paul Catholic Church (207 Vandalia St, Collinsville, IL 62234). A Mass was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (11002 Widicus Rd, Lebanon, IL 62254).
