He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hoffman and Julia Hoffman; and his brother-in-law Del "Butch" Gruen. He is survived by: his siblings, Raymond Hoffman and Karen Gruen; his nephew David Gruen; his niece Deb Hilpert (Tim); his great-niece Sara Hilpert; and his great-nephew John Hilpert (Alicia).
