As Dwayne Carl departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Dwayne Carl may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Dwayne Carl leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Chaney and Mary Ruth Chaney. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Chaney; his son Michael Chaney (Holly); his grandchildren, Rylee and Cambree Chaney; and his siblings, Gaylen Chaney and Verla Cushman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association, American Lung Association and the Granite City High School Golf Team.
