She was predeceased by: her husband Richard "Dick" Sale; her daughter Lisa Bowen; her father John; and her siblings, Sandra "June" Mitchell, Carol Tottleben, Patricia McCain, Karen "Cookie" Day-Fonseca, John "Butch" Bova, Jr. and Michael Bova.
She is survived by: her children, Leonard "Goose" Hopper of Granite City, IL, Greg Hopper of Mascoutah, IL, April Savala of Collinsville, IL and Brandie Davis (Adam) of Belleville, IL; her stepchildren, Debbie Samples (Randy) of Caseyville, IL, Doug Sale of Caseyville, IL and Danny Sale of Collinsville, IL; her sister Donna Hodge of Shelbyville, IL.; and her special angels, Dallas Hopper and Misty Blanchard. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren.
Donations are preferred to the American Heart Association.
