With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Parke Maier (Collinsville, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 5, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Owen Maier and Jewel Maier; his wife Mary Pratten; his children, Lisa Maier (Wells Wheeler) of Des Peres, MO, Cheryl Lamkin (Kris) of Wildwood, MO and Craig Maier (Sarah) of LaGrange, IL; his grandchildren, Anna, John and Claire Wheeler; his children, Katherine, Joseph Lamkin, Eleanor, Ethan and Thomas Maier; his brothers, Robert Maier and Christopher Maier; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Pratten Smith, Don Pratten, James Pratten and Robert Pratten.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sunset Hill Funeral, Cemetery & Cremation Services (50 Fountain Dr, Glen Carbon, IL 62034).
