With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darlene Sackett of Collinsville, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 16, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Taylor and Minnie Taylor (Rollings); her husband Byron Sackett (Carbondale); and her sister Eilene of Women's Center. She is survived by: her brother Charles; her children, Deborah Sackett of Portland and Richard Sackett of Alton; her grandsons, Jamie and Kieran Moylan; her sister Betty Taylor; her niece Sherry Greening; her nephews, Glenn Greening and Alan Taylor; and also, Jo Gammage, Sandy Rhodes, Nancy Aud and Cathy Elfgen.
Memorials are suggested to 5A's Animal Shelter or Oasis Women's Center.
