He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Humphrey and Marie Humphrey (McCain); and his son Shawn Humphrey. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Humphrey (Erlinger); his daughter Shannon Hurt (Justin); his grandchildren, Grace Isselhard and Tristan Hurt; his great grandchild Delilah Isselhard; and his brother Gary Humphrey (Brenda). He is also survived by sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
