She was predeceased by: her parents, George A. Ruby and Juanita L. Ruby; and her sister Linda S. Fuchs. She is survived by: her husband Sherman J. Smith III; her sons, Shawn Smith (Beth) of Maumelle, AR, Brian Smith (Leah) of Calhan, CO and Colin Smith (Naomi) of O'Fallon, IL; and her sister Kathryn Smith (Buzz) of Brighton, IL.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
