With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chad Michael Thacker of Collinsville, Illinois, born in Hillsboro, Illinois, who passed away on November 2, 2024 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Dennis Thacker; his grandparents, Dolores and Kenneth Turner; his great-grandparent Harold Thacker; his grandmother Bone; his aunt Nancy Clark; and his uncle Floyd Thacker.
He is survived by: his mother Donna Thacker (Holt) of Pocahontas; his wife Stacy O'Brian (Knight) of Sorento; his grandmother Sally Spensberger of Panama; his children, Raymond O'Brian (Shelby) of Pocahontas, Dylan O'Brian (Chelsey Shutt) of Mt. Olive and Faith O'Brian (Alec Finley) of Effingham; his grandchildren, Raymond O'Brian, Maya Finley and Sage O'Brian; his brother Dennis Thacker of Centralia; his aunt Alice Oliver; and his uncles, Dave Thacker and Kenny Clark. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Perfetti-Assalley Funeral Home of Panama (117 Walnut St, Panama, IL 62077).
