He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Nessel and Wilma Nessel (Hoge). He is survived by: his wife Deborah A. Zumwinkel; his children, Gentry Fifer (Evan) of Highland, Thaddeus Nessel (Natalie) of Collinsville, Tory Nessel (Danielle) of Mascoutah and Tierney Nessel of Collinsville; and his brother Brian Nessel of Warrenville.
