It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bobby Fred Dow of Collinsville, Illinois, born in Conway, Arkansas, who passed away on November 8, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Robert Dow; his parents, Marion Edward and Katie Bell Dow; and his siblings, Sarah Mae Fortson, Powers, Raymond and Wainrite Dow.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Bumpers; his children, David Dow (Marlene) of Columbus, IN, Paul Dow (Kathy) of Wood River, IL and Carrie Dow of Shiloh, IL; and his daughter-in-law Nancy Dow (Robert) of Centennial, CO. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Collinsville First United Methodist Church (207 W Church St, Collinsville, IL 62234). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to The Baddour Center in Senatobia, MS and will be received at the visitation or can be mailed to Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
