It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lee Shemoney of Collinsville, Illinois, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on February 19, 2024, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Simpson and Evelyn Simpson (Riester); her husband Ralph Shemoney; and her siblings, Melvin Simpson and Gloria Hutchison.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Shemoney, Barbara Barus (Chris), Kathy Barrons (Greg) and Janie Rosenbaum (Jim); and her grandchildren, Kristen, Kendra, Tim, Alison, Adam, Lindsay, Sarah, Stacey, Marissa and Ethan.

Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
