She was predeceased by: her husband Herbert E. Brunkhorst; her parents, Charles Childers and Etta Mary Childers; and her son-in-law Jeffrey D. Nelson. She is survived by: her children, Ronald L. Childers (Terry) of Cahokia, IL, Herbert L. Brunkhorst (Tina) of Palm Bay, FL, Brenda L. Brunkhorst of Sparta, IL and Norma Nelson of Collinsville, IL; and her friend Ruth Scheibe. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
