She was predeceased by: her father William Eichelberger; and her husband James "Jim" Perley Stroud. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Stroud (Karen) of Collinsville, Diane Vogler (David) of Maryville and Jason Stroud of Collinsville; her grandchildren, Sara Atchison (Ryan), Andria Kroot (David), Mary Stroud (Alan Knabe), Kacie Bruncic (Ben), Jamie Vogler (Michelle), Nick Vogler, Mallory Stroud and Kelsey Stroud; and her great grandchildren, Reagan Atchison, Reed Atchison, Connor Kroot, Eli Bruncic, Bryce Bruncic, Jace Vogler and Stevie Jayne Knabe.

Memorials may be made in Bernice's honor to the Collinsville Library and will be received at the funeral home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
