He was predeceased by: his significant other Margaret "Tiny" Szakacsi; his parents, Benjamin Sr. Szakacsi and Elizabeth Szakacsi; and his grandson John Manual Rodriguez, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Szakacsi (Jennifer) of Collinsville, Lisa Rodriguez of Collinsville, Lillian Kelly (Alan) of O'Fallon, Dennis Szakacsi (Patty) of Collinsville, Cathy Szakacsi of Collinsville and Mary Szakacsi of Collinsville; and his siblings, Mary Lillian Carlyle, John Szakacsi and Eugene Szakacsi. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; four brothers-in-law; one sister-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
