He was predeceased by: his parents, George Stephenson and Elizabeth Land. He is survived by: his wife Carol Stephenson (Bowman); his daughters, Kelli Towner (Byron) and Kim Goldrick (Brian); and his siblings, Chuck Spalding (Carol), Jim Stephenson and Linda Burnside. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Colfax Christian Church and Shriners Children Hospital.
