With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Skaggs of Colfax, Illinois, born in Normal, Illinois, who passed away on January 5, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Baize and Mildred Hatfield Baize; and her daughter Veronica Sticklen. She is survived by: her husband Michael Skaggs; her daughters, Karen Alsman (John) of Cropsey, Kathy McCool (Steve Dobbs) of Carlock, Dawn Forden (Patrick) of Aurora and Heather Miller (Bill) of Downers Grove; and her brothers, Gary Baize of Pontiac, David Baize (Ellen) and Ronnie Baize of Champaign. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Alzheimer's Association.
