He is survived by: his mother Caroline Sue Schaefer (Rainwater) of Colfax; his stepsons, Jason of Bloomington and Andrew Harding of Bloomington; his stepgrandchildren, Sofie and Ethan Harding; his niece Alexa Schaefer of Savoy; and his brother Kenneth Schaefer (Cyndi).
