We are sad to announce that on April 2, 2023, at the age of 61, Layne Getty of Colfax, Illinois, born in Normal, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerold Getty and Irene Getty (Reed); and his siblings, Lana Givens and Lance Getty. He is survived by: his children, Quentin Getty of Fairbury and Savannah Getty of Colfax; his siblings, Lynelle Beck of Colfax, Lyndon Getty (Cheryl) of Rantoul and Laird Getty of Bloomington; and his nephews, David, Damon, Darin and Daton Getty. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Octavia Fire Protection District or Colfax Restoration Project.
