He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Houchens and Florence Houchens (Rigney); and his grandchildren, Joann Briones and Michael Houchens. He is survived by: his wife Rose Storment; his children, Jacqueline Briones (Jerry) of Channahon, Glenda Kreimeier (Terry) of Channahon, Terry Houchens (Michele) of Minooka and Dora Kruger (Richard) of Channahon; his grandchildren, Jason Briones (Teresa), Jill Briones, Stephen Kreimeier (Olivia), David Kreimeier, Christopher Houchens (Mel), Chad Kruger (Katie) and Jared Kruger; his great grandchildren, Evan Briones and Lincoln Houchens; and his nephew George Houchens (Rose) of Colorado. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
