It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ron Porter of Colchester, Illinois, who passed away on September 21, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ted Porter and Ruth Haskins Porter; and his sisters, Ina Haines, Phyllis Macklin, Hazel Stanley, Peggy Porter and Sandy Porter.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Porter; his daughters, Rhonda Curtis (David) and Diann Steele (Tim) of Sedalia, MO.; his grandchildren, Desiree Ford (Chris), Dylan Porter (Kaitlyn Billingley), Robin Eifert (Sean), Ryan Porter (Lisa Irish), Lane Awwad (Jon), Harrison Reed, Mackenzie Bawcum, Heather Moon (Nick), Lee Brattain, Amanda Brattain and Raylynn Lightfoot (Adam); and his sister Betty Furlow.
